Build on your administrative experience and develop your career as a valued member of the Australia Day Council of SAAbout the OpportunityAs the Office Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our programs, events, and operational systems. This position blends administrative expertise with IT know-how, helping us deliver projects that celebrate Australian values, foster inclusion, and engage communities across South Australia.Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Preparing and coordinating internal team meetings, including agendas, documentation, and action tracking
  • Maintaining accurate project and contractor records
  • Overseeing membership, awards and ambassador program administration
  • Supporting the delivery and execution of projects, events, and award programs
  • Assisting with program and event risk assessments
  • Operating and updating the ADCSA website and award program sites
  • Monitoring budgets for project and award programs, providing analysis for review
  • Supervising and delegating tasks to IT and supporting the team with IT requests.
  • Ordering office supplies and managing inventory
  • Recommending process improvements and new program ideas
  • Out of hours work and attendance on public holidays (eg Australia Day) is required
  • Additional duties as directed by the CEO
About YouIn addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have/be:
  • Previous experience as an administrator
  • Confident with Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in project, event, or program coordination
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities and demands whilst maintaining composure
  • Ability to work independently and in a small collaborative team
Desired experience;
  • Experience in a not-for-profit environment
  • Familiarity with CRM or stakeholder management systems
  • Certificate in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Experience with social media content update
  • Experience in protocols management
