
Craft Supervisor - Cranes and Rigging

- Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned.
- Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
- Determines workforce requirements. Coordinates established area operational plans.
- Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
- Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation.
- Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
- Works with Construction Field Engineers, Leading Hands, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Leading Hands and Craft Professionals.
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Bechtel Certified Rigging Engineer (CRE) certification preferred.
- Must have sound knowledge and experience in RT, all terrain and crawler cranes.
- Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering in the use of lifting equipment, alternative heavy lifting systems, mobile gantries, jacking, tailing, rigging equipment, and load distribution systems, including an understanding of transport/transfer of equipment, soil mechanics.
- Knowledge and understanding of the application and requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health.
- Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements.
- Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.
