Acciona Construction has been awarded the contract to design and construct the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant. This project will secure water for the town of Port Lincoln. This role will be based in Port Lincoln and we will assist with relocation including accommodation + site uplift.As part of the multi-disciplinary civil team you will be reporting to the Senior Project Engineer and be supported by the Construction Manager. You will assist with the planning, execution and closing of the project by providing technical, administrative, HSEQS support to the project team. A key requirement is to accurately report on how your project is running (cost, time, scope & quality) at all times requiring you to know and understand your daily costs and scope of works.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that the project is delivered within the allotted time and budget, while satisfying the client's needs
Plan material, resources and systems usage for successful, cost-effective, and best-practice project completion
Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental considerations
Participate in client/contractor meetings
Financial management and cost tracking of subcontractors on larger packages of work
Lead and mentor project teams made of up undergrads, grads, site engineers

Required Skills and CompetenciesExperience and Capabilities we are looking for:

Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or similar
Experience as a Project Engineer or Equivalent
Well-developed leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills coupled with excellent attention to detail.
