- Base Salary Range: $76,561 - $80,256 p.a
- In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

- Certificate IV Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice or equivalent; and
- Hold a current registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia (ATSIHPBA).
- For specialised positions: completed training and/or education in specialisation stream.
- Work effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients to assist to address health needs.
- Engage in activities, clinical health assessment, treatment, referral, psychosocial support and advocacy and associated record keeping for patients with a range of complex health issues.
- Contribute to and participate in consultations and work collaboratively, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, incorporating Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and other communities, service providers and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff in the context of service provision to Aboriginal patients, families and carers.
- Provision of health care services to the Aboriginal Community.
- Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network has determined that an exemption to prefer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants granted by the Equal Opportunity Tribunal of South Australia under sections 34(2) and 56(2) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA) applies to this position. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is considered essential and therefore a Confirmation of Aboriginality may be requested.
