We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.Purpose of the RoleWe are seeking a reliable Store Person to support a major healthcare facility in Southport. This is a well-structured role with manageable demands, focused on stock management, deliveries, and supporting the facilities team. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth site operations through effective inventory control, order fulfilment, and logistics support 🚚With flexible start times between 6:00am and 7:30am, this role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, attention to detail, and a steady, hands-on work environment.Key Responsibilities
- Daily movement, receipting, and distribution of stock and spare parts 📦
- Replenish stock items across designated locations on-site
- Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor minimum stock levels and facilitate timely orders
- Support large deliveries and ensure correct distribution to nominated areas
- Provide administrative support for stock management systems
- Foster strong relationships with BGIS team members, suppliers, and client stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures
- Current manual Driver's Licence
- Experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook; stock systems experience highly regarded)
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and perform manual handling safely
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment and record-keeping
- Forklift licence
- Previous experience in healthcare or facilities environments
