In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring schools, school boarding premises, and related providers meet minimum registration standards. You will also contribute to important regulatory projects, provide informed policy advice, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Victoria’s education sector.Key Duties:
- Carry out compliance reviews of registered schools and boarding facilities
- Produce clear, accurate, and well-structured reports, briefs, and technical papers
- Foster productive relationships with stakeholders across government, independent, and Catholic education sectors
- Collaborate with reviewers and financial analysts to address compliance matters
- Assist in shaping policy and advancing ongoing improvement initiatives
- Contribute to regulatory and assurance projects that support the division’s strategic priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders with confidence and integrity
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with public sector governance, service delivery frameworks, and risk management practices
- The ability to manage complex issues, apply sound judgement, and achieve positive outcomes
- A team-focused approach and the resilience to perform well under pressure or in sensitive situations
