ICT Release & Deployment Manager

- Manage the integrated release calendar and coordinate activities across business units, delivery teams, and technical groups.
- Facilitate planning forums, deployment readiness checks, and go/no-go decisions.
- Uplift and standardise release processes, frameworks, and documentation including templates, checklists, and runbooks.
- Champion repeatable, auditable, and automated release practices.
- Provide oversight of releases within large ICT programs, ensuring compliance with security, architecture, and operational standards.
- Work with program managers to assess risks, dependencies, and impacts.
- Contribute to governance forums and align releases with enterprise ICT strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, clearly communicating risks and complex scheduling matters.
- Support and coach delivery teams on release management best practice.
- Proven track record managing enterprise-level release cycles in complex ICT environments.
- Experience uplifting frameworks, tools, and documentation standards.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models and enterprise change processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executives and multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical and structured thinking with a focus on risk, assurance, and performance metrics.
- Ability to align interdependent delivery streams across large programs.
- Desirables: experience in PMO/governance bodies, understanding of public sector ICT frameworks, exposure to cloud/hybrid deployments, and knowledge of security and operational readiness in government or regulated industries.
