- Facilitate end-to-end weekly payroll processing for employees across Australia & New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple locations and award structures
- Calculate and lodge payroll liabilities including PAYG withholding, payroll tax obligations, superannuation guarantee contributions, and workers compensation reporting
- Conduct comprehensive payroll reporting including periodic compliance reports, exception reporting, variance analysis, and detailed management reporting for senior stakeholders
- Maintain payroll system integrity through employee setup, data maintenance, award interpretation, and system updates while ensuring data security and confidentiality protocols
- Administer leave management processes including annual leave calculations, personal leave entitlements, long service leave accruals, and leave loading provisions across various employment agreements
- Process termination payments and final pay calculations including unused leave entitlements, notice periods, and redundancy payments in accordance with Fair Work requirements
- Manage employee expense processing including travel allowances, tool allowances, overtime calculations, and expense claim reconciliations with appropriate approvals
- Support month-end financial processes by preparing payroll journals, accruals, and reconciliations for integration with the general ledger system
- Respond to employee payroll enquiries in a professional and timely manner while maintaining strict confidentiality and providing clear explanations of pay calculations
- Assist with audit processes by preparing payroll documentation, supporting schedules, and liaising with external auditors as required
- Provide backup support for other finance team members during peak periods and participate in cross-training opportunities to broaden skill base
