Senior Windows 11 Testing Specialist

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Windows 11 deployment.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Conduct hardware and software compatibility testing across laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
• Validate policies, security settings, and system behaviours post-upgrade (GPOs, BitLocker, Defender, etc.).
• Test application packaging and deployment using SCCM, Intune, or similar tools.
• Support rollback testing and backup validation scenarios.
• Log and manage defects, track resolution, and report risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve upgrade issues.
• Maintain detailed test documentation including scripts, summary reports, and traceability matrices.

• 3+ years of experience in desktop operating system testing within enterprise environments; experience in public sector settings is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in test preparation, execution, and end-to-end test lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10 and 11, upgrade paths, and group policy testing.
• Experience with tools such as TestRail, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP ALM.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT ecosystems including Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, application packaging.
• Ability to script and automate basic test routines (PowerShell or similar scripting).
• Strong attention to detail, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to deliver within tight timeframes and in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Must be an Australian Citizen, located in or able to travel to Sydney under a hybrid work model.
