Job Description:We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer with strong APAC and international payroll expertise to join a leading organisation on a 3-month contract with an immediate start. You'll be working within a supportive finance team of seven. Based in the Sydney CBD, the position offers a hybrid model - the first two weeks in-office, followed by three days working from home.What you'll be doing:

Oversee end-to-end payroll across multiple regions.
Ensure payroll processes remain compliant with relevant legislation.
Support the employee lifecycle including onboarding, exits, and changes.
Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries from staff and managers.
Maintain strong controls and accurate payroll data.
Contribute to payroll reviews and audits to ensure accuracy.
Manage statutory obligations and reporting requirements.
Assist with regular and year-end payroll activities.

What we're looking for:

5+ years' experience in payroll processing.
Strong knowledge of Australian and UK payroll operations.
Hands-on experience conducting payroll audits.
Ability to work across global teams (APAC, US, UK time zones).
Familiarity with Rippling and NetSuite (advantageous, not essential).
