About the RoleBased at our Kewdale site and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Electrician carries out scheduled maintenance tasks and responds to equipment breakdowns, prioritizing work efficiently to minimize disruption. A key part of the role involves fault finding, as well as troubleshooting a range of industrial electronic control systems. This role is a dayshift roster, working 6am to 2:06pm, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend and after hours work available.The duties and responsibilities associated with this role will include, but are not limited to:

Completes breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance activities to all equipment on site;
Takes direction from Team leader or Maintenance supervisor, and responds to requests from production team as required, including breakdowns, machine change overs, machine fault finding;
Responds to call outs and Breakdowns in a timely manner;
Conducts machine inspections/preventative maintenance activities and reports back any faults identified.
Ensures equipment is operational and available to meet production requirements of the business;
Works with production team to ensure products produced is of a suitable quality;
Identifies spare parts required and alerts Team leader or Maintenance supervisor when parts are not available; and
Ensures that the work health and safety requirements of this function are maintained in accordance with statutory legislation and company policies and procedures.

About YouTo be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess an electrical license and relevant Trade Qualification, demonstrate physical fitness for manual tasks, and have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
