- Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations and ensuring consistent, high-quality food delivery
- Mentor and develop junior chefs while assisting with recruitment, rostering, and payroll to build a strong, efficient team
- Contribute to menu creation and innovation, bringing fresh, on-trend ideas to large-scale events and functions
- Manage food costs, budgets, and inventory to maintain efficiency and profitability
- Collaborate with purchasing to ensure smooth kitchen flow and timely stock availability
- Foster a safe, compliant, and positive kitchen culture built on teamwork and respect
- Elevate the guest experience by driving creativity and excellence at every service touchpoint
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar leadership role, with strong banqueting experience essential
- Hands-on leader who sets the tone, motivates the team, and leads by example across multiple sections
- Strong communicator with the ability to delegate effectively and maintain high standards under pressure
- Solutions-focused, adaptable, and always seeking ways to improve systems, service, and food quality
- Able to work independently with initiative, precision, and attention to detail
