Access theAbout the rolePermanent full time opportunities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services across the continuum of care to patients and families of STARS, as part of an interprofessional, collaborative team.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • This position requires high-level knowledge of complex conditions, patterns of pathology, and the use of validated evidence-based management principles, coupled with high-level experience in a range of caseloads.
  • Apply well-developed communication, consultative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, parents/carers, multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals and agencies in order to meet service goals and enhance health outcomes
  • Provide leadership in the provision of evidence-based and patient-centred occupational therapy practice and education, and initiate and participate in clinical research and service improvement projects in order to optimise health outcomes.
