- Salary: $103,353 - $110,497 p.a (pro rata)
- Lead and support the nursing/midwifery team to ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained.
- Promote continuity and consistency of care by collaborating with other AN/MUM and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager.
- Assist in implementing practice changes to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Support in managing ward/unit/service operations, including performance management, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation, and attendance management.
- Assist in financial and supplies planning, as well as monitoring expenditures and resource usage.
- Mentor and develop less experienced staff through training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure their continuous professional growth.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures to uphold clinical standards and regulatory compliance.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
