We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer for a temporary, fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) role based in Queensland. Design and Analysis: Apply your deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles to the design, analysis, and failure assessment of equipment.
Safety Processes: Play a pivotal role in HAZID and HAZOP studies, and implement safety in design processes to mitigate risks to personnel and equipment.
Problem-Solving: Determine the root cause of complex problems, evaluate multiple solutions, and implement effective strategies to ensure a planned and structured approach.
Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, managing their needs and ensuring seamless collaboration.
Change Management: Assess the impact of changes, prepare integrated change management plans, and support stakeholders in the adoption and successful delivery of those changes.
Standards and Compliance: Align project deliverables with engineering standards and review designs to ensure they meet construction, operation, and maintenance requirements.

Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical engineering role.
Desirable: Prior exposure to Maintenance and Equipment Compliance Systems is highly desirable.
