Contributes to the advisory, design and evaluation of the installation, operations, maintenance and oversight of mechanical products, equipment, or processes.The ideal candidate:
- Applies an understanding of Mechanical Engineering-related terminology, key processes and activities
- Employs specific/relevant discipline engineering expertise and leadership to meet technical expectations
- Assesses change impacts to prepare integrated change management plans, manages change readiness and resistance, and upskills leaders and impacted stakeholders in the adoption and successful delivery of the change.
- Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses the risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Sources information, plans and conducts analyses to support evidence based decision making.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.

- The role will be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm – standard office timings.
- Possible flexibility
- Brisbane based: Required to be in office a few days per week - however this is flexible and negotiable
- Remote possible for the right candidate
- Significant experience in similar role
- Qualification: Senior Mechanical Engineer (degree qualified)
