Learn more about our in our .Project Overview:Bechtel is providing project and contract management services to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in energy infrastructure. We are looking for people to join us to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within an integrated team with our customer.Job Summary:In this role, you will work with the project team to prepare schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations. You will apply established unit job hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, prepare work logic, identify restraints and potential impacts, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects stay on track and on time.Major Responsibilities:

Receives day to day guidance from the Project Controls Manager but will be responsible for supporting the project office and site office will all planning / scheduling resources and output deliverables.
Provides inputs, guidance and recommendations for planning / scheduling requirements relative to staffing and project control. Prepares detailed staffing plans for planning / scheduling activities.
Coordinate's scheduling and planning inputs from all functions to ensure a robust and achievable schedule is prepared.
Coordinate the set-up of and maintenance thereafter of the specific quantity tracking metrics to ensure weekly quantities are meeting the project schedule requirements.
Ascertains that the correct scope of work is reflected on all schedules.
Integrates interdisciplinary schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties. Works with Studies and Approvals team to ensure that the schedule accurately details the inputs and timelines to allow continuity of all scopes of works.
Establishes and implements methods for determining activity durations provided by contractors within assigned disciplines or specialties. Ensures all reports are providing adequate over-view of contractor scheduled activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency in using PC operating systems and multi discipline specific software applications (Primavera P6, Microsoft applications).
Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client.
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing, and solving problems.
Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
Knowledge of current industry and technical developments.
