Our client is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee multiple inflight and forecasted pipeline projects and will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading them. This is a rolling 6-month contract in the Melbourne western suburbs, where you will be required to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. It is an onsite role, with some hybrid flexibility negotiable.Please note, to apply applicants must have the following:
  • The requisite skills and experience defined below,
  • At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights,
  • At least 5+ year's relevant local working experience as a Technical Project Manager.
Experience Required:
  • Project Management qualifications mandatory (eg. Prince2, PMBOK, PMP, AIPM, CPPP).
  • 5+ years experience in Technology Infrastructure Project Management within complex organisations (Tier 1 or 2).
  • Change Management experience within the Technology Infrastructure domian.
  • Experience working in Technology Facilities (eg. Data Centres, data cabling systems, power inc UPS units), Network switch & Firewall LCM, OS Upgrades, WiFi including installations and troubleshooting).
  • Strong project management skills, highly organised, able to prioritise work and run multiple projects simultaneously while working autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of motivating high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools/software.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and unforeseen challenges.
  • Experience in managing vendors as part of the projects delivery.
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, conflict resolution skills and a quality control mindset.
