We're dedicated to providing you with career opportunities through work that is rewarding and meaningful within the community.We are looking for a passionate Engagement Practitioner who is looking to grow and further develop their career with an organisation dedicated to giving back to the community.The Engagement Practitioner - LGBTQIA+ role is designed to support individuals from LGBTQIA+ communities in accessing mental health and other essential services. The focus of the role is on identifying and addressing the unique barriers faced by people of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, particularly in environments where discrimination or lack of understanding may hinder access to care. Through one-on-one support, the practitioner will help participants navigate services, overcome stigma, and move forward in their healing journey.To be successful, you will require;
  • Tertiary qualification (or nearing completion) in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related
  • A current Working with Children Check
