-We are seeking to establish a pool of Aboriginal and Islander Education Officers (AIEO) for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. AIEO's assist and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, particularly those at risk, through mentoring and pastoral care to ensure their participation and achievement in the school environment.Whilst supporting teachers to implement the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework, suitable applicants should ideally display a strong link to Aboriginal culture and establish positive working relationships with our families and local community.
