Join a dynamic and collaborative research environment as an Administration Officer, reporting directly to the Chair/Professor of SWS NMRA. This is a unique chance to work alongside leading researchers, clinicians, and external partners driving high-impact health initiatives across the District.In this pivotal role, you'll coordinate key research administration tasks-including ethics submissions, grant applications, and project reporting-while supporting meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications. You'll also assist with data entry, record keeping, and financial tracking to ensure smooth project operations.We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting groundbreaking health research. The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional and high quality administrative support to the Director/Manager and other staff members within the team including the project officer and research staff.The Research Administrative Officer has the overall day to day management responsibility in supporting the research unit and is responsible for the implementation of administrative processes necessary for smooth running of the office, Importantly this position will act as a first point of contact for senior members of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, universities, plus a range of contacts at all levels from all research stakeholders and hospital staff liaising with the medical team.The Research Administrative Officer is required to assist in the development of effective and efficient administrative systems that will be necessary as the research unit grows.Where You'll Be Working
