The ability to adapt, to be proactive in problem solving and to work effectively within the team and autonomously will be crucial for success.
The Change Manager will be expected to utilise change frameworks and coaching to support change
initiatives, will have a growth mindset and be dedicated to and participate in continuous improvement workstreams.Accountabilities include:
- Develop comprehensive change management strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain detailed change plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Proactively identify and mitigate change risks and readiness challenges
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop targeted engagement and communication plans.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholder groups and the Program Team - acting as a trusted advisor.
- Capture, manage, and respond to stakeholder feedback, issues, and concerns.
- Design and deliver engaging communications to support awareness, understanding, and ownership.
- Support the planning and delivery of training and capability uplift activities in collaboration with SMEs.
- Develop resources such as SharePoint sites, FAQs, newsletters, and presentation materials tailored to audience needs.
- Monitor the rollout of change initiatives to ensure adoption and minimise disruption.
- Adjust strategies and interventions in response to feedback and changing conditions.
- Support leaders and teams to navigate transitions effectively and embed new behaviours.
- Identify sources of resistance to change and develop strategies to address and overcome resistance.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders and teams dealing with resistance.
- Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives.
- Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to continuously improve change management processes.
- Maintain detailed records of change initiatives, progress, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Business Management/Business Administration or other qualification relevant to the role.
- Proven experience in change management, project management, or a related field.
- Formal certification in a change methodology (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Experience in business transformation and change management initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven success in planning and delivering change initiatives within complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in low-maturity or evolving change environments.
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to manage through relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
- High attention to detail with a strategic mindset.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable in the face of change.
