Senior Health & Safety Specialist – Resources ProjectWagerup & Pinjarra | Site & Office Based | Flexible Work ArrangementsWe’re seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Specialist to join a major resources project in WA. This is a key role supporting multiple operating sites, with the opportunity to combine site-based work and office flexibility, including some work from home once established in the project.About the RoleIn this role, you’ll provide specialist HSE leadership and support across the project, ensuring compliance with health and safety systems, legislation, and site standards. You’ll work closely with project teams, contractors, and site leadership to promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement in safety outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide mentoring, coaching, and safety leadership across project teams and contractorsSupport incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsLead risk management activities including hazard identification and risk reviewsDeliver inductions, toolbox talks, and portfolio-wide safety trainingConduct site inspections, audits, and safety performance reportingEnsure emergency preparedness and coordinate drills across sitesEngage with stakeholders to drive safe behaviours and positive safety outcomesAbout You8+ years’ experience in health & safety roles within mining, resources, or constructionStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence behaviours at all levelsProven experience managing contractors and supporting site-based operationsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skillsDiploma in Occupational/Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)White Card & Advanced First Aid certificationDesirable: Experience with tier-one resources projects, Lead Auditor or ICAM Lead Investigator qualificationsWhat’s on OfferLong-term project opportunity with flexible working arrangementsA pivotal role in shaping a strong safety culture across multiple sitesWork with a collaborative team on a major resources projectIf you’re an experienced HSE professional ready to step into a leadership role on a major project, we’d love to hear from you.
