About The Role:The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the strategy, roadmaps, lifecycle management and technical standards for the cloud infrastructure and platforms used by Department. This includes creating and designing high level target state infrastructure architecture that aligns to internal best practice and guardrails, contributing to architecture decisions, costing and estimates of project engagements.The department operates a hybrid environment that utilises the Microsoft Azure cloud, Microsoft 365 cloud and on-premise Microsoft Active directory-based infrastructure. The applications use a combination of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databasesAbout You:Already an experienced Infrastructure Architect professional with a strong business acumen, you will have a track record of gathering and interpreting business requirements along with designing individual and integrated solutions to achieve business benefits. Your outstanding collaboration and stakeholder management talents underpin your influencing approach, customer service centric ethos and ability to promote personal integrityEither training, certifications and/or experience with Microsoft cloud and on premise environments is desirable.This position operates in the context of .
