It’s how we grow our business and keep one step ahead of our competitors.Role overviewWe’re looking for an experienced Liability Underwriter who is a client-centric professional to join our General Liability team. As a Liability underwriter, you will be working closely with the Head of Liability and Regional Manager to help grow and develop a diversified liability portfolio.You’ll be working within an established underwriting business with an existing General Liability presence, supported by an experienced and global underwriting business.This role will see responsibilities for:
  • Work closely with brokers assist in building a GL pipeline
  • Prepare and communicate quotations
  • Negotiate rates/ terms with brokers
  • Prepare and present to brokers information on DUAL’s Liability product
  • Prepare and communicate bindings
  • Prepare and communicate policy conditions for administration processing
  • Prepare and communicate mid-term adjustments/ endorsements for administration processing
  • Follow up offer of quotation/ renewal
  • Update reporting systems
  • Ensure DUAL’s needs/ interests are protected
  • Adhere to underwriting procedures
  • Adhere to underwriting authority
About youWe’re looking for a self-starter with strong communication and organisational skills, and at least three years of liability underwriting experience.
