Troocoo is proud to partner with an established mining organisation in Brisbane’s CBD to recruit a Purchasing Officer on a short-term, 3-month temporary contract.Key responsibilities include:
  • Co-ordinate and process purchase orders within SAP accurately and promptly.
  • Obtain quotes and liaise with suppliers on the supply of goods.
  • Manage suppliers and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving invoicing discrepancies and supplier performance concerns.
  • Conduct supplier onboarding processes ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communication.
Skills & ExperienceThis position is ideal for someone who is immediately available, enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and has great communication skills.You will have seen success in your previous positions because of your strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes, and ability to record information accurately. This position is ideal for a team player with good relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Purchasing, Buying, or Procurement position.
  • Experience in purchasing engineering parts and components will be held in high regard.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
