
Breakfast Chef - Mercure Newcastle

- Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Chef is required to wash all dishes during service
- Assist with inhouse functions, restaurant and cafe food as required
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager.
- Experience in buffet breakfast service preferred
- Deliver consistent, high quality food while maintaining set food cost
- Work in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to guests
- Have great communication skills & a positive attitude
- Have excellent planning and organisational skills
- Have willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests
