You’ll be responsible for managing remedial building projects end-to-end — from initial planning, tender documentation, and budgeting, through to execution, quality assurance, and defect rectification. You’ll work closely with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with specifications and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage remedial building projects from start to finish.
- Prepare scopes of work, tenders, schedules, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure project success.
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and manage defect rectification.
- Provide technical advice and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- 5+ years’ project management experience in remedial or construction.
- Degree or qualification in Building, Construction, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, defect rectification, and remedial methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage construction contracts and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Leadership ability with a track record in team development.
- Experience in strata projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
