- Assist and lead the cocktail and wine knowledge development process across our venues with the Head of Beverage, ensuring all new creations are rooted in classic technique with a balanced approach to innovation and creativity and team inclusion.
- Manage and deliver a productive and effective casual team workforce that is aligned to budgets, event needs and monthly KPI’s
- Collaborate with the venue team to maintain consistency and excellence in beverage presentation and service inclusive of staff presentation as directed by the Head of Beverage.
- Monitor and control beverage costs across Rosehill Gardens and Canterbury Park venues, including maintaining acceptable stock levels and wastage records.
- Manage and control accurate end of month stocktakes with finance to meet business expectation and deadlines, insuring monthly KPIs are managed and aligned to budgets.
- Assist as required to standardise supplier relationships and ordering systems across the venues as requested by the Head of Beverage and be responsible for all stock ordering and cost of goods across Rosehill Gardens and Canterbury Park.
- Provide training and development for the beverage team and casual team members, focusing on service standards, product knowledge, and cocktail craftsmanship.
- Lead supervisor and team meetings within venue to assess performance, manage upcoming challenges, and discuss team needs.
- Set the tone for a culture of collaboration, high standards, and a can-do attitude, while creating a great culture amongst beverage team members and other departments that fosters teamwork, pride, and professional growth.
