About the roleAs the Head of MRI at the Repat Health Precinct, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality MRI services to patients and clients. You will be responsible for setting the professional standards, objectives, and priorities of the MRI Department, ensuring that services are safe, effective, and aligned with best practice. This is a rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead with vision and drive excellence in medical imaging.About YouYou are a highly skilled MRI professional with the qualifications, expertise, and leadership ability to deliver high-quality imaging services. With a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork, you bring both technical excellence and the ability to mentor and guide others in a complex and dynamic environment.Qualified and registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, with a current SA Radiation Licence and Level 1 MRI Accreditation.Experienced in performing both standard and complex MRI procedures, with proven expertise in medical imaging and departmental workflow management.Strong communicator and team leader, able to supervise, mentor, and provide professional direction across a range of staff levels.Demonstrated ability to work independently, apply initiative, and maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous professional development.About usSouth Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) at the Repat is part the largest public imaging provider in Australia! With a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional imaging services provided by a multidisciplinary team, SA Medical Imaging provides care to public and private inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients. We have 6 metropolitan and 4 country locations in South Australian hospitals.Our highly motivated and respected personnel are patient and community-focused, and we pride ourselves on our values-driven service. The Repat is now open to the community with a town square, cafés and a playground established for patients, families, and the community to utilise. There is also a newly built accessible sports stadium, refurbished Schools Patriotic Fund (SPF) Hall, meeting room and hydrotherapy pool that can be hired by the community.What we offer
