- Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
- Ability to build contract sell-rates from first principles as part of pre-contract commercial pricing model
- Commercialisation of a sub-Business Group service offerings to support business growth and strategy
- Ensuring that all rates and prices for Wood's services is prepared, analysed and reviewed to a high standard
- Developing teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business
- Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
- Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
- Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the Contract.
- Managing the tender governance process for the Contract.
- Manages and provides team members with the general direction in commercial activities during the contract life cycle from input into tenders through contract delivery to contract commercial closeout

- Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce, quantity surveying, or similar discipline. 8-12 years' experience with 4+ years' experience in similar leadership/management role
- In addition to an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, the individual should have extensive and varied work experience with Wood which would allow extensive knowledge of and exposure to key contractual and commercial management concepts and principles
- Proven experience in contract administration including change management
- Proven ability to prepare, analyse and review pricing for tender submissions
- Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures.
