Our client is a leading provider of electrical and mechanical maintenance solutions to the food and beverage, packaging and manufacturing industries.At present, they are on the hunt for experienced Mechanical/Maintenance Fitters to join their team on a contract/casual basis to assist with servicing a portfolio of clients throughout the South East and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The positions will primarily involve performing preventative and reactive/breakdown maintenance, providing technical support to various manufacturing sites, as well as some project work.To be successful in these positions, you will be expected to demonstrate:

Formal Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or similar
Previous experience in performing planned and reactive maintenance
Hands-on experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
A restricted Disconnect/Reconnect Electrical Licence will be highly regarded
Strong commitment towards WHS
Full Driver's License with clean driving history
Excellent troubleshooting skills with analytical thinking and logical decision-making ability
Experience in a manufacturing environment (Food and beverage, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, etc.) will be looked upon favourably

These are vital roles with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility. You will need to be customer service-oriented with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for the business and the customers.
