As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a clear strategy for revenue and profitability. You’ll manage sell pricing for a diverse range of refurbished technology products, working closely with suppliers to understand product availability. Collaboration is key—you’ll coordinate with the sales team to meet stock requirements and promotional opportunities, while partnering with key stakeholders to review and implement sales strategies.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a clear strategy for revenue and profitability.
- Manage sell pricing across a diverse refurbished technology product range.
- Liaise with suppliers to understand product availability and lead times.
- Coordinate with the sales team to meet stock needs and capitalize on promotional opportunities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and refine sales strategies.
- Analyse and interpret sales results to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems.
- Proven proficiency in Excel is essential—most of your work will be Excel-based. You should be comfortable with:
- Pivot Tables
- XLOOKUP
- SUMIFS and other conditional formulas
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong background in financial modeling and forecasting (qualification/experience required).
- Solid skills in data analysis and statistical analysis (qualification/experience required).
- Excellent communication skills—you’ll be working cross-departmentally with Listings, Wholesale & E-commerce, Operations, and Accounts.
- Critical thinking is a must. You’ll regularly identify and question data inconsistencies and inefficiencies to drive better outcomes.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills to handle competing demands effectively.
