Expect all this and more when you join Linfox.What does the job look like?In this role you will perform essential safety, compliance, emergency response and freight planning tasks for our Resources & Industrial West transport operation. We require coverage for afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm) and weekend work is required. Key areas:
  • Participate and commit to Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility requirements at all times
  • Freight planning, including coordination, planning and execution of urgent freight orders
  • Monitor and report on driver fatigue and welfare using fleet monitoring systems
  • Driver incident and breakdown coordination and response
  • Completion of accurate data entry, reports and record-keeping in a variety of systems including SAP TM, Excel and SharePoint
  • Assist with ad-hoc transport administration duties as required

  • A commitment to safety in everything you do
  • Previous exposure to mining/ resource or transport/ logistics industries
  • Experience conducting similar tasks, OHS support role desirable
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent people and negotiations skills
  • A clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate computer skills, SAP TM desirable
