Randstad is currently recruiting for a number of Budget Management Planners to join our clients, fast-growing Federal Government DepartmentThis will require a high level of stakeholder management skills, written and communications skills along with the ability to work in a time pressure environment and be agile in a changing environment.
  • Attractive Hourly Pay Rates $43+ per hour + superannuation
  • Full Time Hours, Monday-Friday, multiple locations across South Australia
  • Long-term contract with potential extensions available
About the role:
This position involves supporting a key initiative within a Federal Government Agency that is responsible for a national disability scheme. You'll be a core team member, working under general direction to perform moderately complex tasks. The role focuses on helping participants manage their funding to reduce overspending.
  • Assessing and interpreting participant records, policies, and legislation to make informed funding decisions
  • Engaging with participants and their representatives to understand their circumstances and spending patterns
  • Gathering information and analysing records and provide recommendations based on evidence
  • Assisting with complex matter via phone or email and have ability to have difficult discussions
  • Completing administrative and data entry tasks relating to participants
  • Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators
  • Resolving issues and complaints in relation to participant plans
About you:
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS policies and guidelines and plans
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: You possess strong verbal and written communication skills and can handle difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You have a keen eye for detail, can analyze complex information, and apply sound judgment to resolve issues.
  • Team and Independent Work: You can manage your workload independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
  • IT Proficiency: You are competent with IT systems and can learn new business applications quickly.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: You are resilient, maintaining effectiveness when faced with major changes in work responsibilities or the environment
