Our mission is to help more people to hear.About the Role:We have a permanent full-time role for a Logistics Operator to join our friendly and diverse warehouse & dispatch team. This role is based at our Macquarie University campus (free parking onsite), working 8am-4pm (Monday to Friday), with opportunities for overtime available.Key Responsibilities include:Picking and packing parts for manufacturing as per kitsDelivering to manufacturing area as per issued kitsCompliance to Safety procedures & reporting workplace hazards, incidents or injuriesFollowing Quality management System to delivery high quality resultsManaging inventory in line with established proceduresMaintaining inventory levels in Oracle ERPVisual inspections of receivablesShip products to various regions globally as per sales orders on a daily basis and maintain customer service level to regionsPrepare implants for packing, including labellingAdhering to “first in, first out” principleAbout you:We are looking for someone who takes initiative and is able to work both autonomously and in a team, to execute responsibilities accurately and within required timeframes . Additionally, you will have:Ideally 2 years of experience in a similar environmentStrong computer literacy and experience with Oracle, SAP, or a similar ERP systemAbility to follow detailed instructionsAbility to lift and move loads of up to 10kgsCochlear’s mission is to help people hear and be heard.
