What's the role?Join a high-impact second line risk function supporting Group Treasury in managing capital adequacy risk across the Group. As a Senior Manager/Manager in the Recovery and Resolution Planning Risk team, you'll provide oversight, guidance, and challenge across the Group's Recovery, Exit and Resolution Planning processes.You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to regulatory submissions, and help shape the future of risk management through data-driven insights and collaborative execution.This is a fulltime 24-month fixed term role based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.What do I need?We're looking for someone who brings:
  • Experience in banking or financial services, ideally within Risk, Group Treasury, or Finance with a strong understanding of risk management and the regulations applicable to banks.
  • Exposure to capital, recovery and exit planning, resolution planning, or stress testing processes would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, with strong written and verbal communication skills, ideally demonstrated through experience with high profile projects.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver sustainable outcomes in a dynamic environment
  • A collaborative and accountable approach, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
