Food Processers (machine operators and inspectors)

- Morning, day, afternoon, and night shifts, ranging from 7-10 hours, with production starting as early as 5:00 am and finishing as late as midnight
- Chilled work environment (1-4 degrees Celsius)
- Own transport is essential as public transport options are limited in this area
- Weekly 4-5 Day Roster over Monday to Saturday, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift 5-20 kg are necessary
- Measure, portion, and securely seal ingredients in containers to maintain freshness. Assemble salad ingredients per recipe and quality standards
- Labelling, Sorting & Handling Accurately label products and ensure they meet quality and hygiene standards. Remove any damaged items and maintain a clean, organised packing area
- Operate food production equipment, including labelling machines, cryovac machines, and vegetable cutters. Cut, sort, and trim vegetables and salad items with precision
- Package finished products and organize for shipment
- Wash trays in a wet environment, involving some heavy lifting
- Must hold an Australian birth certificate or passport as proof of full work rights
- At least 12 months' experience in food production or packing,
- Willingness to wear provided PPE (e.g., jackets, gumboots)
- Able to work up to 40 hours, with flexibility across Monday-Saturday
