- Overseeing the implementation and performance of the site's maintenance and reliability strategy.
- Managing engineering budgets, cost reviews and contributing to annual mine planning processes.
- Driving continuous improvement, digitalisation, and innovation in engineering practices.
- Embedding a positive safety culture across engineering operations.
- Supporting the implementation of lifecycle asset management and the Equipment Care program.
- Contributing to major projects and performance improvement initiatives across the site.

- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- NSW Practising Certificate as Manager of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Underground Coal)
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Project Management
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior engineering or leadership position within underground coal mining
- A strong understanding of HSEC and statutory compliance requirements
- Proven leadership capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and engineering systems
- Familiarity with CMMS, reliability-centred maintenance, and digital systems is desirable
- Risk Management and ICAM (incident investigation) qualifications are advantageous
