Due to this continuing rapid growth, Richard Lloyd has been engaged to recruit a Financial / Business Analyst for their high-performing finance team.Reporting to a talented and experienced Head of Finance who thrives on watching her team develop, you will have the opportunity to grow both your skillset and career.This multi-faceted Financial / Business Analyst role will see you working in a collaborative and high-performance team. You will quickly become a key partner to multiple stakeholders and ensure the delivery of your responsibilities across a $400m division.Boasting a flexible working environment, once you are comfortable in the role, you can work from home two days per week.Working as part of a collaborative team, this is a company with a great culture that prides itself on being fast-paced and nimble, providing a competitive advantage over its main competitors.The RoleYour role as the Financial / Business Analyst will play a key position in the team for this sizeable division. In this appealingly broad-based role, your core remit will include (yet certainly not be limited to):
  • Engaging with the multiple stakeholders across your division and wider organisation (both finance and non-finance)
  • Provide both financial and commercial support to your partners
  • Development of dashboards
  • Financial performance analysis
  • Variance analysis and identifying trends and business drivers
  • Continuous development and implementation of business reporting, systems and processes
  • Deliver commercial and analytical support to Operations to facilitate profitable and sustainable growth
  • Play a key role in the integration of newly acquired businesses
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Maintain weekly cash flow forecasting tools
  • Lead or be involved in key process and reporting improvement projects
Your BackgroundTo be considered for this Financial / Business Analyst role, you will be a qualified Accountant (e.g. CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) and should meet the following criteria:
  • Experience working within a relevant/relatable product-based industry such as FMCG, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, distribution, etc..
  • Solid accounting grounding coupled with more recent analytical, FP&A, or management accounting-flavoured experience
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting knowledge
  • IT literate - intermediate to advanced Excel, coupled with experience working with Power BI, will be held in high regard (Power BI not a pre-requisite)
  • Examples of 'commercial nous' and being involved in process improvement projects. The ability to overcome problems, find solutions and demonstrate initiative / proactivity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
