Volunteer Coordinator - Penguin Guide Program (paid position)

• Recruit, train and coordinate a team of passionate volunteer penguin guides who deliver educational experiences every night of the year
• Develop and deliver training sessions and educational resources for volunteers
• Manage weekly volunteer rosters and provide ongoing support and recognition
• Participate in guiding duties on the boardwalk one night per month
• Work collaboratively with Phillip Island Nature Parks staff and other key stakeholders
• Connect volunteers with other Earthcare programs, including our citizen science initiatives

• Experience in volunteer management or coordination (2+ years)
• Strong organizational and communication skills for engaging with volunteers and stakeholders
• Experience in training delivery or educational program development
• Genuine interest in wildlife conservation and environmental education
• Ability to work autonomously with flexible arrangements including occasional evening sessions
• Comfort with digital data management (experience with CiviCRM advantageous)
