Salary $150,000 – $160,000 + Super (dependent on skills and experience)

The Role
The Quality & Technical Manager is responsible for leading the company’s food safety, compliance, and product quality programs, while also overseeing innovation and R&D initiatives. Key duties will include:

Drive and maintain food safety, quality systems and compliance with relevant regulations and standards including SQF, HACCP, FSANZ, Halal, Kosher and various other customer specific standards
Lead cross-functional teams to develop, test and commercialise new products and improve existing product lines
Lead and mentor the Quality and Technical Teams setting clear goals, KPIs and expectations

The Requirements

QA Senior leadership experience across large scale food production ideally from an industrial pastry or commercial bakery environment
Extensive knowledge of food standards and food safety regulations including strong knowledge of all the major supermarket’s specific standards
Highly engaging leadership skills
Strong knowledge of R&D and NPD
