Step into a newly created management opportunity with one of Queensland's leading new home builders as they continue to secure themselves one of the most reputable builders in the market.Their continued growth means they have an opportunity to add an experienced Construction Manager to their already high performing team.About the RoleAs Construction Manager you will play key role and direct link between the Director and the team, someone who can be the buffer between Estimating, Design, Site and Operations.
  • Providing on site support, training and development for the Supervisors
  • Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
  • Inspecting works to ensure a high standard of quality workmanship, including quality inspections
  • Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget, including monitoring and controlling ETS's
  • Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systems
  • Ensuring that the Onsite Companion project management system is kept up to date during build processes
  • Managing conflicts and solving problems that may arise
About YouThis role is for someone with thorough knowledge and experience within the Residential Construction Industry, who already has experience in a Construction Manager or Area Construction Manager role.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar leadership style role
  • Have strong knowledge of QLD and Australian building codes
  • Relevant trade/tertiary qualification in Construction
  • Previous experience with Onsite Companion and similar software systems
