Our client is a staffing/recruitment business who specialize in placing qualified professionals in construction and traffic management roles across Melbourne. They have been in operation for 30 years and are a family first business who have a strong focus on ensuring their employees are well looked after.Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working as part of a small team or 3, you will be responsible for:
- Weekly processing for 300-400 employees
- Processing new starters, terminations, Masterfile changes, overtime, leave processing and report checking
- Interpretating relevant awards/EBA's and applying relevant policies
- Adjustment calculations
- Assisting with Work Cover administration
- Answering payroll queries
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
