
Payroll Compliance Specialist

- Interpretation of Awards and application of data under review
- Support the Payroll Manager during the fortnightly pay period with general enquiries, termination calculations, correction calculations and during payroll processing each fortnight to ensure accuracy
- Support end of financial year processes
- Assist with the rollout of new payroll processes and provide feedback on payroll system & HRIS best practice
- Oversee system configurations
- Support Big 4 consultancy with the extraction and interpretation of time & attendance data + data validation
- Liaising with current and former employees around remediation activities
- Processing remediation payments
- A strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
- Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payroll discrepancies.
