This role will be working within the Johnson Controls group ensuring the ongoing administering process with all company payrolls are delivered promptly.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day Payroll Operational ANZ support as directed by the Payroll Supervisor to ensure employees are paid accurately and on timeMaintain documentation of app payroll-related processes, procedures, checklists, calendars and sure they are updated periodicallyEnsure all statutory an non-statutory remittances/payments are made accurately and on time, in accordance with the Payroll Calendars for All AU PayrollsEnsure date integrity is maintained in the Payroll Systems. Payroll transactions are processes efficiently with minimal error and in compliance with appropriate country requirementsAdminister Payroll processes in collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update Payroll information and postings in line with country requirementsCompiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, insurances, non-taxable wages with reporting as applicableResolving payroll discrepancies and reconciliationsMaintaining payroll operations by following policies and proceduresDeveloping ad hoc financial and operational reporting as neededResponsible in completing and involvement with all month end and year end processes / tasksResponsible for accurate and timely submission of Single Touch Payroll / Pay Day FilingResponsible for timely and accurate filing of all Payroll and Employee Masterfile recordsLiaise directly with third party vendor/s in managing of business relationship role that ensures smooth & timely delivery of all operating payroll'sRespond in a timely and professional manner on all employee queries regarding all facets of payroll, accounting and business reporting, problem solvingSupport Payroll Supervisor with any other ad-hoc payroll duties as required from time to timeSupport project activities relating to the migration of specified ANZ Payroll System DatabasesKeep abreast of changing regulatory requirements "best practices" at country levelDemonstrate strong time management and ability to meet deadlines;Demonstrate high level attention to detail and accuracy, solid grasp of mathematics, excellent organisational and communication skillsHigh degree of professionalism and discretion given the confidential nature of the roleWho we are looking for:8 years of experience in Payroll/HR OperationsExperience in interpreting Awards and EBAsExperience in Chris21, Ramco, Workday/MS CRM DynamicsExperience working within a Union Collective environmentPayroll certificationBachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Business or any related field/sOnly applicants who have a current right to work in Australia will be considered.Please note pre-employment checks – including reference checks, medical, criminal record check, and drug & alcohol testing – will form part of the eligibility process.Diversity and InclusionJohnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
