At the Shire we value Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork which underpin the way we work with our elected members, the community and each other.Job DescriptionAs a Waste Transfer Station Attendant you will greet and guide customers in disposing their waste efficiently and effectively, and ensure our waste streams are kept sorted, tidy and safe; providing a high standard of service to our growing community.
Our Waste Transfer Station is open Friday to Tuesday, and on all Public Holidays except Good Friday and Christmas Day.

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Behaviour that positively demonstrates the Shire's HEART of: Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork
Demonstrated customer service experience
Cash handling experience
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Good level of fitness including capacity for lifting

Previous experience in Re-use, Waste or Recycling related fields and loader operation will be highly regarded.
