In addition, you will contribute to the development, delivery, and promotion of waste education programs, information campaigns, initiatives and events to promote awareness of the Shire's waste services and waste minimisation practices, encourage waste minimisation, re-use and recycling, and enhance awareness of waste disposal processes and contamination issues.
Your excellent organisational skills and high level of proficiency with data input, monitoring and reporting will ensure the efficient administration of our Waste Services. Your ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels will enable you grow community trust in our Waste Services and build strong and productive working relationships to support effective Waste Service delivery.The rewards:

- Base annual salary $75,189 per annum dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications
- Annual leave loading of 17.5%

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

- Strong computer skills in MS Office, databases, spreadsheets, internet and email
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including correspondence and report writing
- Accurate data entry, record keeping and numeracy skills
- Experience in the creation of templates and pro-forma documents
- High work quality and productivity with attention to detail
- Previous administration experience
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and customer service skills and experience
- Sound time management and organisational skill and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to use initiative, problem solving and effective research skills
- Current 'C' class driver's licence
