Job Description Client ProfileOur client is a dynamic hospitality group with a strong national presence, known for its fun, fresh and community-driven venues. With multiple sites across Australia and a strong focus on team development, culture, and customer connection.Job DescriptionAs General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the venue’s performance, with a major focus on financial leadership and accountability. You’ll lead the restaurant through its opening phase and beyond, building a strong team culture, driving guest satisfaction, and managing key reporting functions directly.Your core responsibilities will include:

Full accountability for daily venue operations, team leadership, and guest experience
Building, training and mentoring a new team to deliver operational consistency and strong service standards
Ownership of financial performance — including preparing business plan, budgets, managing COGS, labour targets, inventory, and weekly financial reporting in line with business KPIs
Collaborating with the Area Leader and Head Office on ongoing strategy, systems, and brand growth
Leading a positive, “hands-on” culture with strong communication across front and back of house

Candidate ProfileWe’re looking for a proven hospitality leader with a sharp operational mindset and a strong track record in financial accountability. You may already be a GM or an experienced Restaurant Manager ready to step into a more autonomous, reporting-driven role.The successful candidate will bring:

Demonstrated experience managing high-volume restaurants or premium casual venues
Strong financial capability — confident with P&L, reporting tools, and weekly performance metrics
A people-first leadership style with the ability to train, motivate, and retain great staff
Hands-on floor presence and the ability to balance service excellence with commercial results
