Job Category: Frontline Trades and LabourJob Description:We currently have opportunities available for Asphalt and Spray Seal Crew Members/Operators to join our team in Austins Ferry, Hobart. These roles are ideal for those seeking a diverse, hands-on role. If you have previous experience in Spray Seal or Asphalt work, we would love to hear from you - especially HC drivers and Sprayer Drivers.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current Construction Induction card.
  • Previous Spray Seal/Asphalt experience.
  • Proven ability in the operation of mobile plant machinery and equipment.
  • A team player with proven ability to work efficiently with others
  • A strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture
  • The ability to work intrastate for periods of time as required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current Heavy Combination or Multi Combination Licence
  • Experience as a Bitumen Sprayer Truck Driver or in Bitumen Haulage (highly advantageous)
  • Dangerous Good Certification
  • Current working safely with bitumen training
  • Knowledge and experience in bituminous surfacing or civil construction industry is ideal, a trade or mechanical background would be advantageous
